Colomba

Colomba is the pride of “dal Forner”.
Our recipe respects the tradition, for the dough we use only natural ingredients and no hydrogenated fats.
Natural sourdough, due to its characteristics, requires a long rising time to ensure the freshness and fragrance of the product, the scent and the perfect digestibility.
Its original form is covered with sugar glaze and almonds.
The variants we propose are: classic with candid fruit and pear and chocolate.

Classic Colomba with candid fruit

Ingredients:

WHEAT flour type “0”, candied orange 25,1% (orange peel, sugar, glucose, water, vanilla beans), BUTTER, EGG white, sugar, natural yeast from sourdough (WHEAT flour type “00”, water), salt.
COVERING: Glaze (sugar, rice starch, EGG white in powder, vegetable fats: palm oil, glucose syrup, MILK proteins, ALMONDS, modified starch, flavourings), grain sugar, ALMONDS. WITHOUT PRESERVATIVES, EMULSIFIERS AND MONODIGLYCERIDES.

Allergens: Contain cereals containing gluten, milk and eggs. It may contain traces of soy, nuts and sesame.

Pear and chocolate Colomba

WHEAT flour type “0”, semi-candied pear in cubes 20% (pear syrup, glucose-fructose, sucrose, citric acid E330, preservative: potassium sorbate E 202), BUTTER, EGG white, sugar, natural yeast from sourdough (WHEAT flour type “00”, water), chocolate drops 5% (cocoa mass 54%, sugar, emulsifier: SOYA lecithin, Vanilla flavor), salt.
